  • Our guests are inquisitive travelers. Our expeditions have a mix of single travelers, couples and groups. Our guests’ most common trait is a passion for travel and a desire to share that passion with fellow adventurers.

  • Our trips accommodate a range of fitness levels, but many activities involve walking on uneven terrain, snorkeling, and other outdoor pursuits. A moderate level of fitness is recommended to fully enjoy the experience. If you have specific concerns, please contact us to discuss trip suitability.

  • Yes! The Galapagos Islands are a fantastic destination for families. We recommend our trips for children ages 6 and up, as some activities require endurance and an interest in nature. Private family departures can also be arranged.

  • The Galapagos Islands are a year-round destination.

    • December – May: Warmer temperatures (air: 75-85°F / 24-29°C, water: 70-80°F / 21-27°C), occasional rain showers, and calmer seas.

    • June – November: Cooler temperatures (air: 65-80°F / 18-27°C, water: 65-75°F / 18-24°C), nutrient-rich waters attract more marine life, and there's a fresh ocean breeze.

  • Galapagos has the full spectrum of accommodations, from hostels to luxury hotels. We lodge our guests based on their preference and budget.

  • Meals feature a mix of Ecuadorian and international cuisine. Vegetarian, vegan, and other dietary needs can be accommodated with prior notice.

  • No prior snorkeling experience is required, but basic swimming skills are recommended. Our expert guides provide instructions and assist guests in the water. Calm bays and shallow reefs offer ideal conditions for both beginners and advanced snorkelers. No matter your experience, count on close wild-life encounters.

  • We recommend:

    • Lightweight, breathable clothing

    • A wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses

    • Swimsuit and rash guard for sun protection

    • Reef-safe sunscreen

    • Sturdy water shoes or sandals

    • Light rain jacket 

  • Our trip packages typically include:

  • Our trip packages do not include:

    • Flights to and from Ecuador or the Galapagos

    • National Park Entrance Fee ($200 for foreigners, $30 for nationals, $100 for children under 12)

    • Most meals when island-hopping 

  • Yes, we highly recommend travel insurance to cover trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances.

  • Most travelers will need a passport valid for at least six months. No visa is required for most nationalities. A transit control card (TCT) is required upon entry. We recommend checking with your local embassy or travel clinic for health advisories and vaccination recommendations.

  • Our trips maintain a low guest-to-guide ratio to ensure a personalized experience. Most small group trips have one certified naturalist guide for every 10-16 guests.

  • Fishing tours can be arranged as part of your travel. Galapagos has rich stocks of yellow-fin tuna, wahoo, dolphin fish and many other species.
